A look "behind the scenes" of EcoPower: In the proven electric outboard motor years of development work and optimisation for all conceivable situations on the water. The brushless electric motors become since 2002 in Australia manufactured and have been coming to Germany since 2013 inland areas as well as in salt water sailing yachts, sailboats and fishing boats. The electric outboards (also called "calm slider" in sailing yachts) is well thought-out and has various (technical) details that long-time sailors miss even in traditional brands. For example, a digital voltmeter and the EcoPower boat engines have a built-in 3-bladed propeller , Overheat and battery protection , which automatically reduce the power to 50% in the event of an emergency, thus ensuring continued operation for the return journey. The Anti-blocking is another important protection mechanism which ensures a long engine life.
