Ecopower 3.0 - the powerful one

The brushless drive motor from EcoPower is a powerful electric motor made in Australia. The electric outboard is very well designed – e.g. integrated voltmeter, undervoltage protection and temperature protection are extremely useful in practical use. The brushless motor drives the propeller through the contactless reversal of the polarity of the drive magnets.  This guarantees higher energy efficiency and significantly lower wear. Even the smaller models from EcoPower are about as powerful as medium-sized models from other manufacturers – although they are significantly cheaper! This is noticeable at the latest with the next fresh breeze, when you have to maneuver quickly against the wind to reef.

The Ecopower 3.0 has similarly good consumption values as the 2.0 model, but convinces with its power. It unfolds its full potential in strong headwinds and waves, and this with measured max. 60A consumption:

* The runtime depends on the battery capacity as well as the risk of overheating, you should exhaust the specified runtime, especially at full speed. If the overheating protection is activated, the motor reduces the current consumption to 50% for safety reasons.

Testimonials

I have already ordered in some shops on the Internet but this one is exemplary!
Not so easy to find the "right" one with all the electric outboards. Thanks to the offer to test the electric motor, I then decided on the Ecopower, great motor and thank you for the offer.
I also like to drive longer with an engine even though I am a sailor, but when there is no wind ... The problem with my previous engines was always the enormous battery consumption even at half throttle tw. 30-50A. I have seen and bought the test video, I am very enthusiastic, hours of driving with the motor are no longer a problem.
Had a Minn Kota for years but with the current low water level I can't get out of or into the harbor (get stuck in the mud) and have been looking for something stronger. Was a bit skeptical about the Ecopower, because the enormous strength of 140lbs made me think. A test drive with the operator's boat (great offer!) was able to convince me completely, he deliberately drove me through mud and it was as if the mud did not exist at all (although you could see it clearly when selected). I can therefore only make a recommendation!
It is not easy to find a strong outboard for larger sailing yachts (28 feet) and with 24V, if you take it strictly there is actually only one brand â until I found this shop. The engine should be quite new, at least in Austria I have never heard of it and was a bit skeptical. However, a call to the operator of the shop convinced me and after assembly from the first test drive, the last skepticism was gone.
I have never heard or read about this brand, so I called the operator of the shop, who took the time to advise me in detail. Because of this, I bought the EcoPower and have been very satisfied with it for months, thank you!
I was interested in the (for me) unknown brand Ecopower and took the opportunity to test the engine. Was at Jäger Yachtelektrik in Jois and was able to borrow the engine (where can you find something like that?!) and test it with my sailing yacht. Has completely convinced me, Thank you very much for the great service!
