Ecopower 2.0 - Boat Electric Motor with Remote Control
The brushless drive motor from EcoPower is a powerful electric motor made in Australia. The electric outboard is very well designed – e.g. integrated voltmeter, undervoltage protection and temperature protection are extremely useful in practical use. The brushless motor drives the propeller through the contactless reversal of the polarity of the drive magnets. This guarantees higher energy efficiency and significantly lower wear. Even the smaller models from EcoPower are about as powerful as medium-sized models from other manufacturers – although they are significantly cheaper! This is noticeable at the latest with the next fresh breeze, when you have to maneuver quickly against the wind to reef.
This is the remote steering variant, where the electric drive is controlled by a remote control. As usual, the engine is mounted in the stern area, e.g. via an engine mount, and the boat is then steered either via a control system, e.g. steering wheel or directly via the tiller.
