Cast off. Full speed ahead!
The brushless drive motor from EcoPower is a powerful electric motor made in Australia. The electric motor is very well designed – e.g. integrated voltmeter, undervoltage protection and temperature protection are extremely useful in practical use. The brushless motor drives the propeller through the contactless reversal of the polarity of the drive magnets. This guarantees higher energy efficiency and significantly lower wear. Even the smaller models from EcoPower are about as powerful as medium/strong models from other manufacturers!
The Ecopower 1.0 is ideal for fishing boats or smaller sailing yachts up to about 1t displacement.

Note: Boat size, design, weight (displacement) and weather conditions (e.g. wind & waves) affect the stated values. Thus, these values are only to be seen as a reference.
* The runtime depends on the battery capacity as well as the risk of overheating, you should exhaust the specified runtime, especially at full speed. If the overheating protection is activated, the motor reduces the current consumption to 50% for safety reasons.

Thanks to the telephone consultation, I decided on a different product than originally planned, cheaper and of higher quality, thank you very much! -
My neighbor has had the Ecopower for 2 years and is very satisfied with it, was able to test it at the neighbor's and has completely convinced me, top product!

I'm a fisherman with a small boat and have had an MK rather weaker model for many years, then I bought the Ecopower 1.0 and I'm overjoyed with it.

I was looking for a powerful engine for my fishing boat and found it here. Even though this engine is not as well known as some established brands, I can only recommend it to keep its promises.

I am a passionate angler and sometimes have to cover longer distances, my old engine didn't really want to work anymore and so I came across this Ecopower after some research. Can only report positive things after several hours of use. -
Finding an electric motor for a catamaran is not so easy, some engines are undersized in terms of power and others with 24V require 2 batteries, which is clearly too much weight for a catamaran. I bought this Ecopower 1.0 and am very satisfied, such a performance at 12V is not available from any other manufacturer! -

Had a Minn Kota for years but with the current low water level I can neither get out nor into the harbor (get stuck in the mud) and looked around for something stronger. Was a bit skeptical about the Ecopower because the enormous strength of 140lbs made me think. A test drive with the operator's boat (great offer!) was able to convince me completely, he deliberately drove me through mud and it was as if the mud didn't exist at all (although you could clearly see it in agitated). I can therefore only make a recommendation!
