These chargers are pre-programmed with regard to the charging characteristic curve for closed AGM/gel batteries (IUoP). If lead/acid wet batteries and Optima batteries are used, we will be happy to change the charging characteristic for you, but this must be announced when ordering. The charging power can also be adjusted within specified limits (depending on the charger). However, this is only necessary if it exceeds the specifications of the battery manufacturer. Despite fluctuating or low input voltage (185 – 265V, 47 – 62 Hz), e.g. at the end of the bridge, or behind endlessly long extension cables, the output power is always the same. Thanks to the high-frequency technology, these chargers are light and compact and can be used for installation in the boat or as a tabletop device. These devices are equipped with a 2m power input line including a 16A Schuko plug and a 2.5m long charging cable (without battery terminal). The working temperature is -10° to +55°C. A counter-voltage of 1V per cell is required to start the charging function.
