Good. Better. Aquamot Trend.
The new Trend motor series are drives of real superlatives and convince all along the line. The Trend-Line can do everything that combustion engines in the power range from 3.5 hp to 11 hp can do, only they are much cleaner, much quieter and much more efficient. In addition, these electric boat motors are available in different versions. The outboard motors are suitable for small dinghies up to boats of about 4 tons. The flange motors are ideal for use for sailboats as calm valves. They can also be equipped with folding propellers. In addition, the Trend-Line electric boat motors are characterized by the following key features:
Unmatched thrust
These engines are a pure powerhouse with thrust values at record levels. And that doesn't come by itself. Until now, manufacturers of electric boat motors have only looked at the propeller itself. However, the flow curve at the engine housing is just as decisive as the subsequent flow to the propeller. These values could only be achieved through a consistent and meticulous improvement of the entire flow process at the engine and propeller. In addition, in addition to state-of-the-art, viscous flow calculation models, numerous tests were carried out in the in-house flow channel in order to achieve the optimal result. Therefore, in our understanding, all Trend models push like no other engine on the market. Compare for yourself...
Unrivalled robustness
And he runs and runs and runs... This sentence has already distinguished Aquamot electric boat motors in the past. And it stays that way! All electric boat motors are made of high-strength and extremely lightweight aluminium, which is also used in aircraft construction. In addition, all motor housings are free of any electronics, as electronic components are very often prone to malfunctions under water. In addition, the Trend outboard motors have another highlight: the newly developed suspension automatically disengages when grounding and prevents worse damage to the engine. Thus, all measures have been taken to ensure that Aquamot drives remain the most robust and durable electric boat motors.
Unrivalled smoothness
It goes without saying that electric boat engines are much quieter than conventional combustion engines. But the fact that the Aquamot Trend motors are much quieter than comparable electric boat motors is really astonishing. Often, high-revving electric motors with a gearbox are used for boat propulsion systems. The result: an annoying, high-frequency whirring with a loss due to friction of up to 30% and an additional wearing part in the system. Here, too, the uncompromising path of slow-turning direct drive was chosen for the new Trend motors and an electric motor without a gearbox was implemented. The result: The Trend-Line is almost silent, more efficient and also has one less wearing part. Superior to perfection, otherwise he wouldn't be an Aquamot.
Unmatched efficiency
It is well known that conventional combustion engines have a lower efficiency than electric motors. But electric boat motors also differ from each other. As already mentioned above, a lot of energy is often destroyed by the use of gearboxes. Furthermore, the most modern three-phase current technology was used in the design. Through exact field calculations, parameters such as air gap, rotor design or sheet metal cutting were precisely optimized and adapted exactly to the application of the electric boat drive. This, of course, was paired with the hydrodynamic processes outside the engine. As a result, these propulsion systems extract more thrust and range from limited energy storage than any other electric boat engine.
Aquamot Trend – a modern partner
The list of all the features that the Aquamot trend brings with it is really long: highly efficient & brushless motor technology, flow-optimized & robust lightweight aluminum housings, perfected propeller designs, unrivaled smoothness, sophisticated suspension system for the outboards, stepless steering in forward and reverse driving, integrated display, largest integrated battery pack in the standard scope of delivery on the market, etc. Every single extra helps to ensure that these products correspond to what we want – to make electromobility on the water a little more interesting.
Outboard or flange, boat engine or electric auxiliary drive – the electric boat motors of the Aquamot Trend-Line meet all requirements.
