Cruise 12.0 FP TorqLink
Fixed Cruise Pod motors are the electric motors of choice for sailboats. All Cruise Pods have an integrated GPS with on-board computer and display, which shows speed and input power, charge level and remaining range. The pylon is compact, low-drag and lightweight thanks to its advanced helical gear. The Cruise 3.0 is a 24-volt pod drive with 6 hp equivalent, ideal for sailboats up to 9 meters in length, as well as displacement boats up to 3 tons.
This lightweight and affordable electric drive offers up to an hour of runtime at full throttle and up to a day's length at lower speeds on a single Power 24-3500 lithium battery.
The arguments for the Cruise 12.0 FP:
- High-efficiency pod drive with an input power of 12,000 watts, which is equivalent to a 25 hp gasoline saildrive
- Connection of up to twoei Power 48-5000, which ensure maximum performance and an accurate range/runtime display
- Hydrogeneration operation: you can recharge your batteries while sailing
- Smaller and lighter than saildrives with combustion engines
- You can choose between two TorqLink throttles: the TorqLink throttle with colour display (1976-00) or the side-mount throttle (1949-00) is recommended.
- Minimal impact on sail speed when the optional 1945-00 folding propeller is installed
- High-quality seawater-resistant aluminum that ensures a long service life even in the harshest conditions
- Comprehensive galvanic corrosion protection thanks to carefully matched materials and highly acousticcurate insulation of materials with different electrochemical properties - supplied with an anode set for fresh and salt water
