Made in the USA – and one of the oldest (since 1934) and best-selling brands. Minn Kota's electric motors (named after the border region of MINNesota and North DaKOTA) are clad in shatterproof polyamide composite material. The electric outboard motors are available for various rated voltages, specially designed for fishing boats, but also for smaller sailboats.

The Minn Kota company was founded in 1972 by Mr. Heinz Rigal and is owned by his family in the 2nd generation. The operating area is around 4,000 m2, from which the electric motors are stored, packed and shipped worldwide. The Minn Kota team consists of 25 expert employees, from circumnavigators to logistics specialists, all of whom always strive to provide our customers with competent advice and support.
It all started with the sale of ropes, sheets and lines for sailboats, but over time the range became much larger, especially when it comes to electric boat drives.
60% of Minn Kota's assortment is mainly sold to the European Union. Most of the boat electric motors are also available promptly from stock.
