Primary clocked, electronic chargers for the professional user. They can be optimally adapted to any battery type (gel or lead/acid) and battery size. There are 15 different charging options to choose from. The setting determines the charging current and the charging voltage in the individual charging phases, as well as the charging characteristic curve (IUoU or IUIoU). IUIoU is usually used for batteries in the marine sector. Here, a recharge phase (I) with a voltage above the gassing point at a constant current is inserted between the main and trickle charges. This is only possible because Fronius chargers supply practically pure direct current. By reducing the alternating current content, the battery has less heating and therefore less water consumption. This makes it possible to charge up to the nominal capacity of the battery. Be sure to read the operating instructions or have the device adjusted by a specialist.
