Chargers ACCTIVA series

All devices are primary-clocked, electronically controlled fully automatic charging machines with switched-mode power supply technology and therefore very light in weight (without heavy 50Hz transformer) and of course CE-tested. These devices are characterized by high efficiency and low energy consumption on the 230V mains side. All Acctiva chargers are protected against reverse polarity, short circuit and overload and cannot overcharge your battery(s), even in continuous operation. These devices are also suitable for buffer operation, i.e. the additional power required by various consumers during the charging process, especially in the trickle charging phase (see info on charging characteristics), is immediately covered by the charger without burdening the battery(s). This prevents the entire charging process from being restarted, which could lead to overcharging of the batteries if chargers are not up to date.

If your batteries are completely empty, i.e. completely without voltage, this will be a problem for most chargers, because without counter-voltage from the battery, the measuring and control devices of these chargers do not work. The situation is quite different with Fronius Acctiva, these devices are also suitable for support operation, i.e. they have immediate voltage on the terminal blocks (in the larger models only by deliberately pressing a microswitch) and do not require any counter-voltage to start the charging process. Nevertheless, it is not damaged if the two pole tongs touch each other. Support operation also means that you can supply various consumers with power without a battery. This is also important, for example, if you want to disconnect your entire on-board electrical system from the battery and save yourself the tedious adjustment of digital watches, GPS devices with waypoint memory, etc., which would lose your data without electricity. In devices with a higher charging power, the terminals are de-energized without the operation of the microswitch in order to prevent possible sparks for safety reasons.
