The new motor from Haswing has undergone significant technical development and will be available in software generation 1.6 from July 2024.

Among other things, this new generation of software has the option of regulating automatic control of the driving speed (cruise control). Thus, the control system maintains a fixed speed regardless of the varying flow speed of the water. In addition, the anchor function of the motor can be selected directly via the remote control. Alternatively, they can also be paired with your smartphone for more navigation options.

The HASWING Cayman-B 80 GPS motor with the manufacturer's designation 50739 has a high demand for stability and resistance due to mechanical influences due to its shaft length and performance. The manufacturer has therefore fundamentally revised the construction of the bracket and the mechanics. The electronic control system is now decoupled from the actuator. This will make the engine even easier to repair if a problem arises. The mechanics of the tilting mechanism and the mounting of the engine pylons when folded up have been fundamentally revised.

The shaft length we offer is 152cm. This makes the engine an inexpensive alternative to other bow motors on the market. The new version of the GPS motor can therefore keep the boat in the specified position even without the connection to the Helmsman app of a mobile phone (anchor function). The software of the motor and the accuracy of the GPS receiver have been improved in the 1.6 generation.

The quick-release plate 59929 has been specially developed for the new engine. It is approx. 10mm thicker than the standard retaining plate. In addition, the plastic parts have been significantly reinforced. This allows the engine to be separated from the boat with a flick of the wrist. With an additional inner quick-release plate, the engine can be easily used on another boat.

Optionally, there is a wireless foot control for the GPS motor in the latest version (model 50805-V02). Please note that only this version is compatible with the engine. Older versions (50805-V00 and 50805-V01) are not supported. It is also not possible to use a wired foot remote control of the normal Cayman B-55 (model 50800).

The built-in drive is a sophisticated brushed motor with 80lbs / 36.3kg thrust, which is particularly popular with the HASWING bow motor due to its robustness, durability and quiet running.

ADVANCED GPS TECHNOLOGY

In order to be able to take advantage of the full functions and advantages of the Cayman-B 80 D GPS, HASWING offers its own app: Simply download the Helmsman app in English from the Apple App Store or Google Playstore (for almost all current smartphones) and connect your engine to your mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth. You can also use the app with the Apple Watch, which massively expands the range of use.

The following functions are offered in the app:

• With advanced GPS positioning technology (anchor function and waypoint input), the Cayman-B 80 D GPS keeps you on your desired course or location
• GPS positioning with multiple anchor points
• Cruise Control (automatic adjustment of the driving speed)
• Route Memory (recording and repetition of routes)
• 5-10 meters GPS accuracy (may vary depending on water bodies and external influences)
• Full Motor Pilot Control (Allows you to use all the functions of the remote control on your mobile phone or tab)
• Anchor function possible directly on the handheld remote control

All you have to do is enter your desired course or anchor points. GPS technology will do the rest for you, giving you more time catching fish and less time hunting fish.
