As an innovative manufacturer, HASWING regularly launches new engines and modifications on the market. This year is no different. HASWING now offers the brushless Ultima 3.0 with 1030W of power and 110lbs (49.9kg) of thrust with a larger lithium battery. From now on a 30Ah / 900Wh lithium battery the Ultima 3.0. The format of the battery module has not changed compared to the 20Ah / 600Wh battery. Only the weight has increased by 2.35kg to 7.2kg. High-quality lithium-ion brand cells from LG are installed.
We had the opportunity to test the Ultima 3.0 on the Danube and were thrilled with the easy handling and driving performance. The engine is comparable to a conventional 3-4hp combustion engine. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to run the battery empty consistently. The manufacturer specifies about 60 minutes of full-throttle driving. This will certainly vary by the type of boat to be moved. We will submit extensive tests on our website in the spring.
Motor and battery together weigh 17.2kg. The included charger fills the 29.6V / 30Ah (900Wh) LiPo battery in 7.5 hours. The tiller is extendable and foldable, just like the Protruar models. The shaft length of the motor is available in 3 variants. Please have a look at the dimensioned photo on this page. Of course, this motor has a stepless speed regulation and a magnetic motor stop.
Brushless motors are installed in all Protruar models. They have infinitely variable speed regulation. The advantages of brushless technology are higher efficiency (more power with less consumption), low wear and longer service life than brushed electric motors. Thanks to the newly developed motor technology, the motors are much quieter than their predecessors and significantly more effective than brushed motors. The propeller sits directly on the motor shaft. The redesigned engine housing with integrated aluminum fin is not only solidly built, but also more flow-optimized.
Recommended for boats up to 7m Length with max. payload.
Technical specifications:
– Motor power (continuous/max): 950W ~ 1030W

– Speed adjustment: infinitely variable
– Battery indicator: 5 LED lights.
– Propeller with 3 blades
– Engine speed: max. 1530rpm
– Noise level: max. 55db
– Trim positions adjustable in 7 steps
– Weight: 17.2kg (motor 10kg / battery 7.2kg)
– Carton packing of motor 44x114x19cm / 13kg
– Battery Type: Lithium Polymer
– Battery size: 29.6V / 30Ah (900Wh)
– Battery weight: 7.2kg
– Box weight approx. 7.9kg (special battery packaging)
– Included charger: 100V~240V / 4A
– Charging time: 7.5 hours
The motor weight varies minimally depending on the length of the shaft.
The manufacturer has created a table after a driving test with a small rigid boat, which we show below:
Velocity | Route | Runtime | |
km/h | Km | hrs:Min | |
slow | 3,4 | 51 | 15:05 |
Half-throttle | 5,1 | 23 | 05:10 |
Full throttle | 8,8 | 8,7 | 01:00 |
We have not been able to verify these values and are only a guide
